So I got the Dog Tag and an Ako Mismo Mug from one of the charitable institutions there. Thanks to “curious_girl” she posted that these Dog Tags will be available once again in July. You can read more about her post by clicking >>>>HERE<<<<<. I hope you guys can follow the link this time. (LOL!)
Here they are:
This mug may not be available, I’m not sure about it though.
” On June 12, 2009, the AKO MISMO dog tags will be made available to the public for the very first time. The dog tags will be sold at P40 each; the proceeds of which will go to our beneficiary charity partners and to the socio-civic activities which we will be mounting nationwide. It is such an important event for us that we declared it the AKO MISMO DOG TAG DAY which will be held at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field in Taguig City.
The event will start at 2pm when we start selling the dog tags to the public. The dog tag will be your entrance ticket to the events of the day.
From 2PM onwards, you have the opportunity to mill around and check out the eleven charity booths we have set up, as well as other activity ! booths.
I remember the first time I had this cigar. It felt heavy on the head and numbs the throat and tongue. The odor sticks to your clothes, hands and worst it gives a bad impression to people that you are using Marijuana. Speaking of which I just want to clear things up for some Manilenyos who thinks that this cigar has a small amount of MJ. You get to see this brand sold on malls and convenience stores all over the place. Most people say it has 5% marijuana on it, well it doesn’t and trust me it’s all cloves. I don’t think the government will allow drugs circulating on such small taxes given by the manufacturer of this cigarette.
Back then I noticed that this cigar can make me loose my appetite for a regular Marlboro stick and it always has (considering the price also). My addiction to cigarette smoking was reduced. The sweet flavored filter and the long tiring wait for it burnout kills the fun in smoking. For some, they enjoy this cigarette thinking that it calms them down because it’s sweet and strong. For first time Gudang smokers, if they survived the first stick; the rest is easy. The people at Gudang Garam says that this cigarette reflects the dynamic spirit of youth, that is full of enthusiasm and loves life‘s challenges. But to me, it slows them down, makes them think (and smell awful) because of the effects of Eugenol. It has a pleasant, spicy aroma and is responsible for the aroma of cloves combined with the sweet flavoring on its filter.
This chemical compound called Eugenol is used in perfume factories, on flavorings, as essential oils and in medical field as a local antiseptic and Anesthetic take note of this word “anesthetic” which causes the numbness on your tongue and throat. This also causes reversible lack of awareness which has the similar effects as your local marijuana. It also causes skeletal muscle reflex and stress response to null temporarily.
It is a little less harmful than smoking a regular tobacco filtered cigarette but it can still kill. On a lighter side of danger the minimal damage you can get from smoking is loosing your gag reflexes. To make it simple you get to choke on a lot of things more often, in short bulimia. Besides bad breath, nicotine filled lungs and an annoying smell that you leave behind when you pass by people or enter an air conditioned room; you are most likely to live about a year or less than an average tobacco smoker.
So there, try not to look stupid by telling all your friends that Gudang makes the trip ihigher because it contains marijuana, but instead tell them that it’s made of cloves. Don’t even think that smoking this brand makes you look cool because in reality it doesn’t. It makes you look dumb and smelly, especially if you don’t know what you are talking about.
I cannot remember when this ad was released on Philippine TV, it was first aired last year around August or September on a different country (Thailand maybe.. since it’s their model anyway). I liked the song and well I had to wait until I get to where the internet connection will not kill me from absolute boredom. I searched for the MP3/MP4 of this TV ad and ended up getting spywares instead. I researched for awhile there is no Wiki available at the moment, if you browse Google you come with Indonesian articles which makes it a little harder for the Filipino public to understand. To make things simple I converted this MP4 video to an MP3. Honestly I don’t know what the title is and I followed what others said but one thing is for sure I do have it ready on MP3 or MP4 and it’s not authentic. Not yet available on LimeWire PRO too LOL!
If ever you guys come across more information about this band IKLAN and their song “Bubble” or “Come Closer” whatever the real title is please share it with me.
People ask who are the male model of this commercial. Honestly I have no idea, but one thing is for sure they did not air this on the Philippines alone. For the ladies who is looking for additional info on who they are, I’ll update my blog when I bump into something.
Because a lot of people has been asking who the male model is for the first commercial, I think I found your guy. His name is Jay Jetrin Wattanasin, he is a singer from Thailand and was discovered by the Thai entertainment company GMM. Born in Bangkok on October 28, 1970. So he’s 39? hmmn anyway here are a link to one of his videos Jay Jetrin from 2005. You be the judge and again correct me if I’m wrong OK?
Wow! 29++ views in 3 weeks… not bad for a video upload (evil grin) LOL!
I normally go out late at night and hang out at MiniStop in Waltermart North Edsa. I noticed this weird signage just right in front of me and took a picture. It has been there for months now and the management of this convenience store didn’t even bother to correct their worst typographical error yet.
