The new voter registration ended with a few hundred thousand Filipinos really stuck to the old habit of waiting to the last day of registration.

Some people really doesnt know when to change

They put the blame on COMELEC, Meralco and the rain (As far as I know this has been going on for a long time now)

This is a part of the official document released by COMELEC last year:

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

The people simply ignored this notice tsk tsk tsk

Who will win the elections?

Noynoy and Mar? - Hmmn padjakan na! (Peace out!)

Joseph Estrada and Binay? – Legal Jueteng and di kaya mapuno ng Mini-Stop ang Pinas? (nagtatanong lang po madalas po kasi ako sa nasasakupan nyo eh.)

Villar and ? – May mga nagawa din naman cya na mabuti with a few scams (not all bad but not all good)

Chiz – Kumalas sa partido? dahil daw ba sa pondo na maliit lang?

Loren – Fighter ‘tong si madam but nobody seems to notice?

Gido – Out of nowhere from somewhere? maganda ang plataporma but is it really worth it?

There are more politicians out there that I want to discuss but never mind them for now.

What will I get this Christmas?

Oh did you know that the 12 Days of Christmas song has a deeper meaning into it?

I wish him Long Life! - Amen!

No shopping for us this year

I want my Chucks!

15th month zero alcohol!

I’ve spent most of my days working with either a noontime show on the background or the evening news. Burn the night away with prime time telenovelas or the regular Sky Cable movie channels. This last two months that has passed has been very hard and informative. It’s the late night discussions with family members and friends that keeps me going. I think I already have Gephyrophobia on heavy rains… want to get over it soon… I felt it when we crossed Pulilan bridge last Wednesday.

More stories to come this month

My brother and sister are so engrossed with online games ( Hmmn maybe on another post or I will tell you more when a special category for them is already up). I remember when I was so hooked on them too. I gave up on the rest of the games that I used to play. The entire gaming thing did not end though, I still have Cabal (baduy! mag Perfect World ka na lang pwede pa kayong ikasal! – Migi = WTH?! LOL!) and Need for Speed World Online, Nitro and Shift (Future) or whatever release EA will have in the future. Everything started with the basketball games on PC where you still need those crappy over sensitive floppy discs. After a few years came Command & Conquer of 1995 which came with Half Life by Sierra (which eventually evolved to Counter Strike) and Star Craft by Blizzard – March 1999 (and the series continued).

Here is my PC gaming history:

NFS – all time favorite
CS – from Beta to version 1.6
Serious Sam
Neverwinter Nights – complete including expansions
Star Craft
War Hammer
The Sims – all versions
Prince of Persia – the entire series the final release can only be played on my C2Q PC though
Pangya
Cabal Beta Test
War Craft
RAN Online – both PH and private servers
MU Online – thanks to czar (private server of RO)
Chronus – beta to official release
World of Warcraft

This is my home arcade gaming and hand held console history:

Pacman – Atari 2000 version
Super Mario Bros. – All versions on almost all gaming consoles
Double Dragon
Double Dribble
Popeye game and watch
Bionic Commando
Contra Commando
Rockman/Mega Man – all English and Japanese versions
Castle Vania – some some
Road Fighter
Battle City
Your regular 20 in One family computer game cartridge
Legend of Zelda
Galaxian
Galaga
Life Force
Sonic the Hedgehog
Kirby
Fatal Fury – complete series
King of Fighters – 1994 to 1998
Bio Hazard/Resident Evil
Legend of Legaia
Bass Fishing
Cool Borders
Tony Hawk series
Battle Arena Toshinden
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
Blood Lines
Brave Fencer Musashiden
Breath of Fire III
Bust a Groove – finger twister
Chrono Cross – one of my all time favorite games
Chrono Trigger
Clock Tower: The First Fear – scarier than Silent Hill
Crash Bandicoot
Wild Arms
Parasite Eve – cool game
Persona – one and two
Dance Dance Revolution
Dead or Alive
Street Fighter EX – one and two
Final Fantasy VIII – I love this game!
Legend of Mana
Valkyrie Profile
Vagrant Story – I played this game and never grew tired of it
Silent Hill
Xenogears – a very difficult game (without a guide)
Thousand Arms – a perverted RPG LOL
Test Drive 4 to 6
Tales of Destiny – one and two
Suikoden II – a complete package RPG
Rival Schools – I liked the combo part here
Puyo Puyo Sun
Metal Gear Solid and the rest of the series
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver – I was addicted to this game for 3 months LOL
Incredible Crisis
Gran Turismo – one and two
Front Mission 1st
Dino Crisis
Tomb Raider

There are a few more that I’ve already forgotten, it took me an hour or so to remember the games on my list (this is still an incomplete list) . To sort them out I’m into RPGs, racing games, puzzles and tactical games and waggle fest.

And so the era of PS games ended… I couldn’t afford to play some more because a gaming console nowadays cost too much, it is too luxurious for entertainment. And so I let go of the games and moved to the next level…

Just last night I closed my social networking accounts (FB, FS, Multiply and Deviantart) to keep my focus on bigger things. Friends will always be friends and there are no regrets having them removed. Soon Gatochrome will be gone too. From shotgun to gunshot23, ultimuschromus to gatochrome will come the final phase. I wonder what will it be this time? One thing for sure is that I’m looking up and will leave everything behind but not throwing it all away. Those things, those people have influenced me a lot and some how made me the way I am today….

Someday I have to say goodbye to the internet as well, maybe because I had to be somewhere else or I have much better things to do than to blog.

But who knows ^_^

Gone are the days when all kids would go out in the afternoon for a game of hide and seek or dance in the rain, it has all come to past and will remain a memory. Playing video games inside the house was something that my siblings and I normally spend our afternoons during summer and weekends. The kids in our neighborhood prefers to go out and play during the night. We are the nocturnal kids back then, playing hide and seek, cooking sweet potatoes on the sidewalks and pestering the sleepy streets.

I went to college and got busy, I was in a hurry to get older and before I knew it I was ready or so I thought I was. I found myself working from one company to another, trying to make a living to support my family. I was not brave enough to take myself to the next level of adulthood. I stood my ground as a bachelor.

Now on my late twenties, all I can see is a faint image of me with a family I can call my own. I am afraid.. so much afraid of what might happen in the future. I had so many failures in the past that made me loose faith. I was once told to enjoy each day as the happen, treasure each moment and savor it. Think not of tomorrow for we are uncertain of what might happen. For there might not be a tomorrow and you will end up in regret because you never gave yesterday your all.
